Volunteers are the driving force behind our organization
Volunteering with PAWS is personally fulfilling and helps us save the orphaned cats and dogs of Coronado. Our volunteers are critical to the animals’ welfare and to finding them their forever homes.
Volunteer opportunities vary widely depending on time of year, animals in the shelter, and other factors.
Please note that we are NOT currently seeking dog-walkers. Listed below are our current volunteer opportunities:
CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Occasionally PAWS receives stray dogs that need to be groomed prior to adoption. This contributes to the dogs’ health and well-being and also helps them to put on their best face for potential adopters! For more information about this position and to apply, please visit the link above.
An important part of ensuring the safety and welfare of animals in our community is educating the community about animal welfare and about what PAWS does. For more information about this position and to apply, please visit the link above.
Volunteers come in daily to socialize, pet, brush, play with and spend quality time with the cats and kittens. For more information about this role and to apply, visit the link above.
