One of the most important goals of PAWS and the Coronado Animal Care Facility is to reunite every lost Coronado pet with his or her owner as quickly as possible. All of us who own pets know how scary and stressful it is, both for them and us, when our animals find themselves lost and trying to find their way home.
Is your pet lost? Please check our Lost/Found pages (click on links below) to see if he/she is now safe at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. We list new arrivals after the close of business each day.
If you live in Coronado and your pet is still missing, email LostAnimals@pawsofcoronado.org with a photo, description (name, age, gender, breed, coloring) of your missing pet, date/time and location last seen, your contact information and any other pertinent information. We will post your missing pet on this site as soon as possible.
Have you found a cat, dog or other pet wandering near your home in Coronado? If you cannot easily locate the owner, call the Coronado Police Department (619-522-7350) at any time of the day or night, 24/7, for pick up. Alternatively, you may drop off the animal at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (1395 First Street) when we are open (9:00-11:30am and 12:30-4:00pm daily, except major holidays.)
