Ava is a gentle, affectionate soul who adores quiet company, cozy and slow, easy affection. She’s might not be high-energy, but she’s high-hearted—overflowing with love for the people she trusts. Despite her size, she firmly believes she’s a lap dog and will insist on snuggling close whenever she can!
When Ava first came to PAWS, she was reserved, but with the support of our team and patient volunteers, she has formed incredibly strong bonds and shown what a loving, loyal friend she can be. She’s still building confidence in the outside world and learning leash skills, but with guidance and encouragement, she’s making great progress and will thrive in a calm, patient home.
Ava has a history of living with one dog and would likely do best as the shining star of her forever home, where she can feel safe and adored. Fully vetted, spayed, and ready to meet her perfect match, Ava is looking for a patient, kind-hearted family who will let her blossom at her own pace—and who won’t mind a little lap-stealing along the way!
