Meet Arlo, a Shepherd mix with a small, sturdy frame, soulful eyes, and a smile that will melt your heart! While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, Arlo quickly warms up and makes fast friends. Once comfortable, he’s playful, affectionate, and full of gentle charm—he loves giving kisses and spending quality time with his humans.
Arlo absolutely loves other dogs! When he’s with a canine companion, he’s relaxed, playful, and completely in his element. We truly believe Arlo’s life is so much better with a buddy, so we’re looking for a home with another dog where he can continue to grow into a confident, joyful boy. While we don’t have a home history with cats, Arlo’s gentle, shy nature suggests that with careful introductions, he could potentially live with cats.
He’s also doing wonderfully with leash walking. He hadn’t had much exposure to the outside world before coming to PAWS, but with short walks in quiet areas, he’s learning that walks can be fun, especially with the right person or dog by his side.
Arlo is a sweet, loyal companion who forms deep bonds with his people. With patience, love, and a canine sidekick, he’s ready to become your best friend for life!
