Looking for my best friend and more…
Leo is one very cool cat – easy going, affectionate, playful and interactive – and he is a TV star, having appeared on the NBC Clear the Shelters segment with newscaster Whitney Southwick!
He came to the Coronado Animal Care Facility as a stray. He had been hanging out in the neighborhood of the 800 block of H Avenue for quite some time until one of the neighbors figured out that he was on his own and brought him into the shelter.
Leo has obviously been in a loving home – his personality and the way he cares for humans show that he had a good relationship with a family not too long ago.
He loves attention and seeks you out when you go into his cat community room. He thoroughly enjoys pets or is content to just hang out beside you. And if you are up for a play session, he is right there pouncing on laser lights and cat wands.
Leo is truly one of the most purrfect cats there is and he is looking for his BFF – is that you? Leo would be okay as a solo cat, but would love living with the right feline friend.
You can meet Leo at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Leo, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
