Are you a compassionate soul who has an open heart and home to care for a sweet senior “special needs” canine nearing the end of her life? If so, Jojo needs you! This precious lady, who is blind and deaf, arrived at the Coronado Animal Care Facility after being found as a stray in San Diego County. Jojo was filthy, heavily matted, severely undernourished and in poor health. She has been groomed, is being treated by our vet and is now ready for her forever home. Jojo is a female English Cocker Spaniel who is twelve years old and weighs 14 pounds.
A gentle soul, Jojo likes to explore her surroundings and wants to be with her human(s). Just like any other senior canine, she sleeps much of the time. She is house trained and walks nicely (though not far) on her leash. Jojo is compatible with another dog that is currently residing at our shelter, so joining a household that includes a friendly gentle canine is possible. We are seeking a caring and loving forever home for Jojo for whatever time she has left. PAWS will manage and pay for her palliative care and veterinary follow-up. Opening your heart and home to this special girl will be a rewarding and memorable experience. Come meet Jojo today at the Coronado Animal Care Facility, this sweetheart deserves a loving and caring forever home!
