This precious little guy is now ready his forever home. Burt is a five-year-old male Chihuahua who weighs just 7 pounds.
Although initially shy, Burt warms up to new people soon enough. Then his sweet and affectionate demeanor is apparent. Burt enjoys snuggling in his human’s lap and is so tiny that you can easily tote him everywhere. Yet when you’re busy, he is content to rest in his bed. Enjoy walking? So does Burt! He loves to walk on his leash, trotting right along. Burt is friendly with other dogs that you meet along the way. He is house trained. Burt would do best in a household full of patience and love, allowing him to gain confidence in his new surroundings. The Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) is open 9:00-11:30am and 12:30-4:00pm daily, except major holidays. It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in an adoption, first please come meet the dog at the Coronado ACF. Then submit a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor.
