Well, it’s time for PAWS of Coronado to strut our stuff and strut our mutts in this year’s 4th of July Parade. And all of our adopters, supporters, volunteers and friends are invited to strut with us. Your well behaved (on a leash) dogs are also welcome to be a part of this great community event. We will meet at 9:00am on I Avenue between First and Second Street. Our position in the parade is Division 2, #32. Step off will be promptly at 10:00 a.m. for the walk down Orange Avenue to Churchill Place.
For those of you who join us, please wear your PAWS tee shirt or anything yellow and we will have a yellow bandana for you as well as fun “dog-less leashes,” signs and banners with which you can entertain the crowd. Thousands of well wishers line the street and from all the applause and cheers we hear every year, it seems that PAWS just may be the most popular entry in the parade! No need to RSVP…just show up for the fun. Without all you do for PAWS, we wouldn’t be able to do all we do for the animals. Thanks so much!
