Meet Maizey!

One Lucky Kitty

Maizey came to PAWS in June when she was found in a Coronado garage stuck to two large glue traps.

With most of her body covered, Maizey survived only because her cute little face was poking out from between the traps allowing her to breathe. After some intensive TLC from our staff and with a wild new hairdo, Maizey was finally glue free and able to return to regular kitten business. Healthy as can be and taking her new duties very seriously, Maizey romps, plays, and cuddles with the best of them.

While she is now ready to find her forever home, Maizey will continue to be a reminder of the dangers of glue traps. Inhumane and often catching wildlife instead of pests, glue traps are dangerous to all and in this case one especially adorable kitten.
