Meet Denver!

Denver
Denver is ready to find a forever family who will support him as he grows into the devoted companion he was born to be.
Denver came to the ACF terrified, and it took a few days for our staff to earn enough trust to work with him. As he was with us, Denver will be cautious when he meets you, and will need an adjustment period to know that he can look
to you for security. Once Denver has accepted you as one of his own, he will be loyal, protective, and constantly near by.
Denver’s fear extends beyond meeting new people; leash walking, loud noises, and rapid movements can be intimidating to him. Denver’s forever family will need to be supportive and patient as he learns how to navigate the world around
him.
Intensely observant and intelligent, Denver is a working dog who will need continuous challenges and activity throughout his life to hold his attention. Highly engaged in training activities, Denver is ready to learn and to find
vital stability in his life.
Denver is currently enrolled in a board-and-train program. If you are interested in adopting Denver, participation in his training sessions will be mandatory.
