Finding Your Forever Best Friend
We want to help find the pet who will be a perfect match for you and your family
From the day they arrive until the day we send them to their new homes, we care for the pets at PAWS as if they are our own. We emphasize getting to know our residents on a individual level and providing for their medical, behavioral, and emotional needs. Our personalized approach to interacting with each pet helps us to recognize the right fit for their forever family.

Every dog available for adoption at PAWS has completed a behavior evaluation. Pups are assessed for resource guarding, basic leash manners, reactivity to other animals, and touch and noise sensitivities. Every dog is given a color code based on their general personality, and this color will be listed in their adoption profile.
Orange
This dog is a social butterfly and loves meeting new people. The definition of outgoing, orange dogs can be described as bubbly, vibrant, and enthusiastic. An orange dog is an instant best friend!
Purple
Purple dogs can be initially shy, but they warm up quickly and are full of personality. Carefree, engaging, and adaptive, purple dogs reward a little patience with a lifetime of love .
Blue
The introverted group, blue dogs need time to adapt as you work to form an everlasting bond together. They are bashful and timid, but if given the opportunity to become comfortable with you they are loyal and loving pets.
